This agreement between you and Starbucks Corporation outlines the terms and conditions that apply to your Starbucks Card. When you purchase, load, or use your Starbucks Card, you agree to these terms.

Important Dispute Resolution Information
This Agreement includes an arbitration agreement that governs any disputes between you and us. In arbitration, there is less discovery and appellate review than in court. This arbitration agreement and other provisions will:
- Eliminate your right to a trial by jury to the extent allowable under applicable law.
- Substantially affect your rights, including preventing you from bringing, joining, or participating in class or consolidated proceedings in arbitration and litigation.
We may provide notices, disclosures, amendments, and other information relating to your Starbucks Card by electronic means. You can find these materials and information online at https://www.starbucks.com/gift-cards/manage/card-terms-and-conditions.
About Your Account
The Starbucks Card allows you to load a dollar value onto it for use at participating Starbucks® stores. It simplifies your shopping experience with us and makes your relationship with us more rewarding. The dollar value on your Starbucks Card is a prepayment for the goods and services at participating stores. Please note that the dollar value is nonrefundable, may not be redeemed for cash, and is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) or earn interest.
Most Starbucks stores in North America, including Puerto Rico, accept your Starbucks Card. To find out if a store accepts the Starbucks Card as a payment method, please inquire at that store or visit the store locator. Any store that lists “Digital Rewards” as one of its amenities accepts the Starbucks Card.
Eligibility
Starbucks Cards are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may only use Starbucks Cards under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this Agreement. When you register your Starbucks Cards with the Starbucks® Rewards program, the Starbucks® Rewards terms of use will also apply.
Loading Value on Your Card
In the United States and Canada, you can load value on your Starbucks Card by visiting any participating store, going online to https://www.starbucks.com/card, or calling 1-800-STARBUC. Please note that there may be a delay from the time you pay the amount to be loaded onto your Starbucks Card and when those funds are available for use.
The total value you may load onto all of your Starbucks Cards, together with any new Starbucks Cards you may purchase, may not exceed $10,000 on any given day. There is also a minimum amount that you may load on any Starbucks Card at any given time, typically $5. Please be aware that these amounts are subject to change without notice.

Starbucks eGift Card
The Starbucks eGift Card, also known as an “eGift,” allows you to purchase and send a virtual Starbucks Card via email or certain social media and messaging platforms. You can choose the design and dollar value (within certain limits) and complete your purchase using a credit card, debit card, or certain other electronic payment methods. The recipient of your eGift can add it to their Starbucks account, transfer the balance to an existing Starbucks Card, or print it out and bring it into a Starbucks store to make a purchase. Please remember to treat an eGift like cash, and note that refunds are only available for unused eGifts with the original receipt.
Promotional Programs
From time to time, we may run promotional programs associated with the Starbucks Card program (“Promotions”). These Promotions are subject to these terms, as well as additional terms indicated in connection with them. We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions of any Promotion at any time, including terminating the Promotion if necessary.
Fees and Expiration of Card Balances
We do not charge any activation, service, dormancy, or inactivity fees in connection with your Starbucks Card. Your Starbucks Card has no expiration date, and the value on your Starbucks Card never expires.
Starbucks Cards That Are Also Merchandise
Some Starbucks Cards are also merchandise or are bundled with merchandise. If the Starbucks Card component and the merchandise component are separable, we may allow returns of the merchandise component. If the components are inseparable, we may allow you to return the item by issuing a refund for the value of the merchandise component and a replacement Starbucks Card loaded with the original value of the Starbucks Card component. The requirements for returning the merchandise component are the same as the requirements for returns of other merchandise, unless otherwise specified by us during your purchase.
Receipts and Transaction History
When you use your Starbucks Card, we will provide a receipt upon request. The receipt will indicate that the purchase was made using a Starbucks Card and provide the remaining balance. Please check your online Transaction history regularly to ensure its accuracy. You can check the balance of your Starbucks Card and review recent Transactions at https://www.starbucks.com/card or https://app.starbucks.com/cards.
Billing Errors, Corrections
We will correct the balance of your Starbucks Card if we believe that a clerical, billing, or accounting error occurred. If you have any questions regarding your Transaction history or any correction, please call Customer Service at 1-800-STARBUC. We have no obligation to review or correct any billing error unless you provide us sufficient notice within sixty (60) days of the date of the Transaction in question.
Fraud Associated with Your Starbucks Card or Card Balance
We will not accept any Starbucks Card or limit its use if we reasonably believe that the use is unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful. If any Starbucks Card or Starbucks Card balance is found to be sourced or derived from fraud or other unlawful means, we may cancel all impacted Starbucks Cards and retain the related balances without notice. Please note that we have no liability for any third-party fraud or unlawful activity associated with any Starbucks Card balance.
Registration, Liability for Unauthorized Transactions
To register your Starbucks Card, visit https://app.starbucks.com/cards and complete the online form. By registering or purchasing a Starbucks Card, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Starbucks Card information. If your Starbucks Card or Starbucks Card information is lost or stolen, anyone who obtains possession may use it. You are responsible for all transactions on your Starbucks Card, including unauthorized transactions. If your registered Starbucks Card is lost, stolen, or damaged, report it as soon as possible either online or by calling 1-800-STARBUC. Your registered Starbucks Card balance is protected from the time you notify us.

Please read the Starbucks Privacy Policy carefully to understand how Starbucks collects, uses, and discloses information about customers, how to update or change your personal information, and how we communicate with you. Changes to This Agreement
We may amend this Agreement at any time. We will post the amended Agreement on our website, and for a period of thirty (30) days, we will also post a notice stating that the terms have changed. Any change, addition, or deletion will become effective when posted, and it will apply to your future and existing Starbucks Cards. If you do not accept the changes, please notify us in writing within 20 days of the date of the notice. If you notify us, we will cancel your Starbucks Cards and refund any remaining balance.
Cancellation of This Agreement
We may suspend or terminate this Agreement and limit your rights and privileges at any time without notice or liability. If we terminate this Agreement without cause, we will refund or issue store credits equal to the balance on your cancelled Starbucks Card(s), less any amounts owed.
Dispute Resolution (including Arbitration Agreement; Class Action Waiver; Jury Trial Waiver)
Please carefully read this section, as it affects your legal rights. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except when taken to small claims court. This agreement includes an arbitration agreement, waiver of class action, and jury trial waiver. Please refer to the full terms and conditions for further details.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Washington, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts in King County, Washington, for any legal action arising out of or related to this Agreement.
Disclaimers and Limits of Liability
Starbucks and its affiliates make no representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the Starbucks Card. Starbucks does not represent or warrant that your Starbucks Cards will always be accessible or accepted. Starbucks and its affiliates shall have no liability for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with this Agreement.
Assignment
We may assign all or part of this Agreement without notice to you. You may not assign this Agreement without our prior written consent.
Entire Agreement, Construction
This Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of agreement between you and Starbucks Corporation and supersedes all prior proposals and agreements governing your Starbucks Card. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable or void, it shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
