If you haven’t connected your Google Home or Google Home Mini to Wi-Fi, let’s start by downloading the Google Home app on your phone or tablet. Once you’re set up but need to change the network or connect to a new password-protected Wi-Fi network, follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Tap the “+” button in the upper-left corner, and select “Set up device.”
  3. Look for your Google Home device in the list and tap its menu button (three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner).
  4. Select “Settings” from the pop-up menu.
  5. Find “Device Settings” and tap “Wi-Fi.”
  6. The Wi-Fi settings for your Google Home device will be displayed. If it’s connected to a network, select “Forget this Network,” then confirm by tapping “Forget Wi-Fi Network.”
