HubSpot 2FA: Solving the Frustration

As a Super Admin, supporting users and resolving their 2FA errors in the HubSpot portal can be quite overwhelming. Dealing with various issues, such as missed notifications, language barriers, and misplaced PDF files containing codes, can cause frustration for both the users and myself. Meanwhile, to ensure uninterrupted workflow, I must create temporary accounts for these users with alternate email addresses. This workaround is far from ideal and hampers the overall productivity of the company.

It’s evident that HubSpot’s 2FA system needs improvement in order to address these issues effectively. Waiting days to access accounts is not acceptable, and Super Admins should not have to resort to creating temporary accounts for users. The following improvements are crucial:

  • Super Admin Rights: Super Admins should have the authority to reset users’ 2FA, allowing them to swiftly assist users without relying on external support.
